Reflect:
The third chapter in the Book of Proverbs presents the excellence and blessings of wisdom and its place in divine counsel. Verse 17 personifies wisdom as a gracious guide with vivid imagery.
Wisdom leads. Wisdom guides. The ways of wisdom are sweet and satisfying. She will take you on the highways of favour and pleasantness. Wisdom is always drawing you into a place of wholeness, peace and prosperity. She will bring you a life of joy.
Wisdom is a gracious life companion that will not drive any woman who embraces her into confusion but into a well-ordered living, keeping her safe and flourishing. Wisdom does not just shape isolated decisions but the direction of an entire life.
For women juggling marriage, motherhood, career, and ministry, wisdom becomes especially valuable because each role has real demands. Without wisdom, it is easy to live by urgency, guilt, comparison, or exhaustion, pulled in different competing directions. With wisdom, we can live by discernment, insight, boundaries, and grace.
Wisdom will help us to protect our peace and embrace our seasons. With wisdom walking alongside us, we will live in rhythm with God in every season of our lives without succumbing to the pressures around us. We will serve from the place of overflow, not from depletion or exhaustion.
How blessed is the woman who has wisdom as her gracious guide and counsel in all the demanding and challenging seasons of her life. Wisdom will help her choose what is right and timely so that her life can remain deeply rooted in God’s peace rather than constant strain, no matter what comes her way.
Prayer of Response:
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your gracious kindness in providing Lady Wisdom to walk the highways of life with us. Our lives as women are often pulled in many different directions by compelling demands. Thank You for the wisdom that helps us walk the journey with stability, peace and joy.

- Are you wearing a mask of having it all together, or are you allowing wisdom to teach you how to navigate the often complex and conflicting journey of life?
- Are you making choices that lead you to wholeness and peace with the help of Wisdom, or saying yes out of fear?
