Lifesprings International is a global network of women whose mission is to connect, encourage, and prepare women worldwide to impact their communities with the love of Jesus Christ.
Jesus calls women to work in his harvest field. This was established at the very beginning when God gave both Adam and Eve the responsibility of ruling and subduing the earth. Eve was just as responsible as Adam was for carrying out God’s work.
Many women in the worldwide church today have a desire to serve Christ and his Kingdom, but they often face obstacles and stumbling blocks that keep them from listening to or following God’s call on their lives.
Two of the biggest obstacles are:
- Confidence issues: We hear women say: “I’m not smart enough”; “I’m not a leader”; “Who am I?”; “I am no one.”
- Lack of training & resources: We hear women say: “I don’t know where to begin”: I’m not qualified”; “I don’t have any skills or abilities.”
We combine three important components to help women overcome obstacles to ministry and become effective workers in God’s harvest field: We Connect, Encourage, and Prepare.
We Connect
We CONNECT with each other and with God to nurture healthy togetherness and belonging. “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:16
We Encourage
We ENCOURAGE each other in believing that we are God’s beloved and that we each have beautiful gifts to use with joy for the Kingdom of God. “Let us consider how to spur one another to love and good deeds…” Hebrews 10:24
We Prepare
Lifesprings prepares women for Kingdom work through the Lifesprings School of Ministry— a personal ministry and leadership training program. 2 Timothy 2:2, “What you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.”
A woman who is Connected + Encouraged + Prepared adds up to a woman who is ready to impact her community with the love of Jesus Christ!

A Brief History of Lifesprings International
Lifesprings International began in 2006 in Grenoble, France as ministry to English-speaking women in the metropolitan area. It started as a local Bible study and grew to include a monthly women’s breakfast, and an annual weekend retreat. The first retreat was held in Lyon, France for English-speaking women from all over Europe. The retreats continued through 2019 when they were halted due to the COVIC pandemic.
Our first retreat speaker, caught the vision of Lifesprings, became part of the ministry, and served as the Executive Director from 2012 to 2022. She had been involved in a personal ministry and leadership training program for women in the U.S. called the School of Women in Ministry (SWM). In 2008, she suggested that Lifesprings offer the program to women in France. Pamela Heim, who had developed the program, gave Lifesprings her whole-hearted approval and blessing to offer it anywhere in the world. It was given the name Lifesprings School of Ministry.
Lifesprings has held seven schools:

- LSM Zürich, Switzerland, October 2011- March 2013 — 44 students
- LSM/Formation Zoé, Grenoble, France, November 2014-April 2016 — 66 students
- LSM Geneva, Ferney Voltaire, France—October 2014-April 2016 — 92 students
- LSM Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia —March 2017-March 2019 — 95 students
- LSM Uganda, September 2021-May 2023 — 83 students
- LSM Lyon (Bilingual), November 2021-March 2023 — included 2 satellite groups: 1 in U.K. and 1 in Greece — 41 students
